Medicine as a career: Good for you. First, though is to make sure you are doing well in your high school or in your early days in college. Medical schools want well rounded, active, passionate humans to go to medical school. It is wise to follow your passions, to have hobbies, to have some experience serving others; it is wise to have an innate desire to participate non-judgmentally in the human experience.
