Decreased libido: Well, first off, what is "excessive use of birth control pills"? Is she taking more than she is prescribed or she's taken them for a long period of time? If she is not following the directions on how to use them, she needs to start following them. If she believes birth control pills is the cause of her problem, she needs to talk to her doc about getting off those and finding something else.
