It is still injured.: I would recommend a follow up xray, if negative treat it like a fracture ...So wear a surgical shoe, wrap the toe, consider an antiinflammatory and see if that helps. Avoid tight shoes.

Damage: From the fracture could be the cause of your lack of motion. Trauma will actually cause damage to cartilage with scarring and cause stiffness. Try so physical therapy and possible injections of cortisone to see if it helps.
