i'm 2 weeks into my birth control and gaining weight. (4 lbs) will this increase or go away soon? i count calories (average of 1300-1400/day)

Could go either way : It may be water weight from fluid retention, which will probably pass. If the pill has changed your appetite, you may be eating more and may need a new pill. If nothing has changed other than being on birth control pills, you should consider changing pills.
