Muscle twitches: Yes. Anxiety is probably the most common cause of chronic muscle twitches, particularly around the face, head, and neck. If there is not a progressive, worsening course, and if there is no pain or weakness, then there is no need to consider other conditions like multiple sclerosis, infiltrative disease, or degenerative disease.
