Autistic Spectrum -: Disorder & ADHD are neurodevelopmental disorders, each with its own neurobehavioral profile determined by history & specific observable behaviors. They are categorical diagnoses, not etiologic diagnoses that explain the genetic or other medical condition that causes the symptoms in a individual. 40-70% of children & teens with ASD also have ADHD & require multi-modal treatment for both.
