Is there a need for a cardiac workup in women with early onset preeclampsia with no hbp? see study http://hyper.ahajournals.org/content/58/4/709.short

Not generally: Preeclampsia is the onset of high blood pressure with protein in the urine, occurring after 20 weeks of pregnancy. If no elevated BP and possible symptoms as shortness of breath, fatique diziness , may warrant heart examination as this could be signs of cardiac heart failure secondary to myocarditis.

Either way: In the least -- you need to note this in the history, because it can reoccur with subsequent pregnancies preeclampsia/eclampsia syndrome is a medical condition that warrant a comprehensive medical evaluation and it has familial tendency -- meaning genetic preponderance, can occur in other (female) family members in different generations.
