Depression symptoms: The first symptoms one may have vary from person to person. Symptoms of depression include: a loss of interest in activities you used to enjoy, difficulty concentrating, change in sleep and/or appetite, fatigue, feelings of hopelessness, poor motivation, and irritabiliy. Some people tend to isolate, are not as social and can have problems funcitoning at home/work.
