If "classical": A migraine variant termed "classical" migraine does cause auras prior to the headache with sparkling lights, areas of decreased vision or even loss of vision over right or left half of visual field, followed by headache. Otherwise eye muscle control is maintained. In another case, horton's cephalgia, the eyelid may temporarily droop.
