ACL + weight loss: Try activities that do not require pivoting, jumping or twisting. Swimming, bicycle riding, and straight-line jogging all produce minimal strain on the acl.

Swimming.: You may be able to tolerate swimming, which eliminates gravity, and allows you to exercise, and burn calories, with your ACL injury.
