Tonsillitis: If you keep getting tonsillitis, most likely, your tonsils are actually causing the problem. This is because you have deep pits or crypts in the tonsils that can harbor infection. Once that happens more than 4 times in a year or you have a few episodes every year for 3 years, you should probably consider having them removed. Best to see an ENT who can review your medical history and do surgery.
