Options: If your dentist prescribed something for you take, follow the instructions as prescribed. If you did not have anything prescribed for you to take for the pain, you may want to take an over the counter product such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or Aspirin provided you are not allergic, sensitive, or have a contraindication to any of them.

Pain Killer: Take a pain killer. Apc or advil (ibuprofen) - like meds work well. If there is an active infection, you may need an antibiotic.
