Driving: Cell phones and the new culture of texting and getting distract in the road, are potencial risk for dying or get severlly injured. As a consequense, the current recommendation is the use of the headset to avoid getting distracted and have a car accident beside they may prevent injuries not only accident but neck strain and headaches for bad neck positioning while talking by phone.

Is there a different amount of radiation that comes from regular cell phones compared to smart phones?

Depends on phone: Cell/smart phones all have ratings with the sar ratings based on the electomagnetic radiation they emit in use. All must be rated <1.6w/kg and the ratings are readily available.
I see some rated from.24-1.55 from the same company. Check with your retailer or phone site.

Is it true that radiation from cell phones is dangerous?

Good question: The answer is not certain. However, i know of a surgeon at a university who claims that he is operating more for acoustic neuroma (a tumor associated with the hearing mechanisms) that he no longer considers it rare. The trouble is that there are so many other factors. Personally i think that cell phones are overused and may be damaging to some.

What are the health hazards of using cell phones ?

Cancer clusters: And 'overhead' high tension wires are urban/suburban legend. No fact. The cell phone issue, linked to brain tumors, is equally ill-founded, but a national scientific body has breathed life by saying it is possible. Since "invisible waves" and x-rays are mysterious, despit very understandable scientific facts, some worry about theories. Fact: the waves coming ini are not ionizing or penetrating.

It may be: Related to the energy waves that impact the ear and brain. One surgeon reported an increase in acoustic neuroma (a rare tumor) but it did not prove it.

Can you tell me if cell phones affect your health?

Radiofrequency: Cell phones are a source of radio frequency radiation, however at this time, there is lack of significant evidence to show that cell phones can lead to an increased risk to formation of brain tumors or any other health conditions. Many of the studies already done have biases or data that is not conclusive.
