Nothing good: Sun tanning or burning should be avoided as long as a scar is immature (that is, pink.) the immature scar will be susceptible to burning and, if tanned, may be tanned permanently. Use a sunscreen with an spf number of 15 or higher and reapply liberally and frequently. Too much sun exposure is not good for normal skin, either.
