Foreign body: I've done the same thing. If the feather when down you swallowing tube or esophagus, you should be fine. Your stomach will digest the feather just like any other food item. However, if the feather when down your windpipe or trachea, it would likely cause a very significant cough and tickle that would not resolve until the feather is gone. If you think it is in your airway, get checked soon.
