Swollen tonsil: You may have tonsillitis, but more concerning is that it is just one tonsil. That could mean that you have an infection or maybe even an abscess behind the right tonsil (peritonsillar abscess). This usually needs to be treated by a drainage procedure, which is done by an ENT specialist. Could be something else, which should be evaluated, also by an ent.
