Not by itself: An abscess is a closed collection of pus (infection) and the treatment must be to open it up and let the pus out. Antibiotics are used to treat the surrounding infected tissues and reduce spread of infection. Your remedy may be of benefit as a prt of this treatment to stimulate the immune system to better fight the infection but I do not recommend that it be the only treatment.
