Analyze causes: Recurrent aphthous (canker sores) or herpetic (cold sores) can be triggered by certain things. Foods (walnuts, tomatoes, citrus) can trigger canker sores. Sunlight, fever or stress can trigger cold sores. See a dentist or physician to differentiate between the two and then seek info re: reducing friquency.
