A member asked:

I'm painfully curious if a woman has a minor stroke while pregnant, does it affect the baby in some way?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: A stroke is a result of disruption of blood flow to an area of the brain. Unless it was caused by global decreased blood flow (i.e. Shock, cardiac arrest, etc), the damage should be limited only to the maternal brain.
