A member asked:

My partner and i were regular unprotected sex. i tested positive for chylamdia a few months ago, he just got tested, and tested negative for it why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: It can be normal that one partner tests positive and one tests negative. Both should be treated if one partner tests positive. If you're worried (and you got treated), you may consider getting a repeat test. If your partner was not treated, he could have had a false negative test and could re-infect you. No test is 100% perfect, so i recommend erring on side of caution and treat both.
