Some women: Can have light bleeding or spotting during pregnancy, but it is not normal menses. If you're concerned, do a hpt. Also, if you didn't have unprotected sex, your wouldn't have to worry about an unwanted pregnancy or the possibility of hiv/std infection.

Yes: It's rare, but i've definitely had patients tell me that they had regular periods during their pregnancy. If you're at all worried, a home pregnancy test should provide an answer. If you're not pregnant, you may want to examine other causes for weight gain or nausea. Thyroid problems, changes in daily activity. Get a urine pregnancy test, first, though so you know if that's the cause.
