HSG: There is an x-ray study called hystero-salpingogram (hsg) that's usually done for this purpose. It is basically an office pelvic exam with some x-ray pictures taken, and it's quite reliabel for testing tubes. Caution: there is alot of bad press on hsg on some message boards, please read with a grain of salt. I've done over 2000 of them myself with never a bad outcome.
