Hard to say: If, in fact, you are in the perimenopause, you can have irregular periods for months or years. Did you doctor say you were in the perimenopause? If you've only missed one period, it could mean 1) early menopause; 2) perimenopause; or 3) late period. Sometimes blood tests can help us estimate where you are in the menopause transition, but they aren't always clear cut and dry. See an md if worry.
