Need more info: When women have miscarriages, they often have d&cs afterward. Cauterization implies heat... Like an endometrial ablation (something your wife is too young for). An enlarged uterus without fibroids is typically adenomyosis (similar to endometriosis). The best treatment for adenomyosis is hormone management with birth control pills, or shots. Definitely speak to a doctor if you or she is worried.
