Nervous breakdown: This is a very ambiguous term which can mean all kinds of things to people -- yet it does not specifically correlate to any one illness or type of problem. If you're feeling anxious, depressed, having mood swings, are irritable, having trouble sleeping, having suicidal thoughts, etc it certainly calls for a professional assessment with a psychologist or psychiatrist. Help is available.
