A member asked:

Is it normal to get a full period after throwing up a birth control pill at the very end of the 2nd week? i've been taking it for about 6 months.

Unsure about ?: I'm not quite sure what your asking/stating. If you took 2 weeks of pills and then threw up a pill at the end of 2nd week and stopped taking pills after that, it would definitely be normal to get a full period when you stopped taking the pills. Typically missing one pill and then continuing remaining pills will not cause a woman to get a full period.

Normal: Many women are very sensitive to missing pills. If they miss a pill they can spot or have a full blown period. You should catch up your missed pill and keep taking them as prescribed. If you miss your pill and you are sexually active use back up for at least a week.
