Some : Some women will have spotting or bleeding between periods when taking birth control pills. This can be due to just being in the first few months of starting the pill, from missing a pill, or even from taking a pill at a different time of day than you usually do. Regardless of the reason, it is important to keep taking all the pills in the pack as you normally would to prevent pregnancy. As long as you do this, you only have a 1% chance of getting pregnant - even during the placebo (sugar) pill week.
