Ultrasound: Pelvic pain is best evaluated by an ultrasound. The first thing to do is a home pregnancy test. A pregnancy in the tube can be very dangerous. You may have developed an ovarian cyst, which may be causing your pain.

Huh?: There is no such thing as pelvic fibromyalgia. Is pain only at night? Anything else make it worse? Did you have c-section?

See below: You may have lumbar radiculopathy, where a nerve coming off your spine is being pinched by osteoarthritis. You may also have a disk herniation in your lower (lumbar) back as well. A nerve conduction and/or MRI could confirm this. See your doctor.

Possibly iatrogenic: Back pain to thighs is sciatica ; common w. #fibromyalgia. I saw in post-partums after epidural anesthesia. Pts assumed needle nerve damage. Common theme was labor team pressing on trendelenberg legs to widen birth canal. No pain felt nor reflex splinting to guard against shearing pelvic force. Next day worst back pain ever ; likely sij strain/ligament tear. Chronic pelvic pain/sciatica ensued.
