What can do to keep a fever down or manageable ?

Fever: How high is your fever? If 101º or less, wait & watch (depending on what other symptoms you have) if over 101º use tylenol (acetaminophen) (follow dose directions to prevent liver damage) or NSAID (advil/motrin/etc) if stomach tolerates them; don't use NSAID if on blood thinner like coumadin. If fever continues to go over 101, see pcp to find out cause & be treated. Fever of 103/more should be treated at once.
