Not usually: Fibroids are typically benign growths off the uterus. They typically do not affect the bladder or urethra unless they are so large that they cause physical pressure from impingement on the urinary structures.

Possibly: Fibroids can grow large enough to press on the bladder just like your uterus can press on your bladder during pregnancy. Frequent need to urinate or a pressure feeling could be from the fibroid. I would consult with your gyn about treatment options including uterine fibroid embolization (ufe), a minimally invasive way to treat many fibroids.
