Had small basal cell removed from forehead. set to follow up with imiquimod but systemic side effects are a concern. other options? 36/newly pregnant

Surgery: Basal cell carcinoma is usually removed completely with surgery. The only reason to follow-up with Imiquimod would be if the cancer were invasive and not removed completely with the surgery. If this is the case, a more complete removal would be the least problematic for side-effects.
