Menses 4x per Year: The bcp sometimes stops all menstrual flow. The bleeding when you are taking bcp is not really important from a health perspective. The bcp ensures that you are not at risk constant estrogen stim of lining & thus cancer. The hormones of the bcp prevent the complications of low hormones like weak bones. The bcp also provides contraception is that is important. Social issues only like forget menses.
