Medications and acne: Many drugs increase the likelihood of getting acne. There is urban legend about Geodon (ziprasidone) causing acne. A retrospective study from the years 2004-2013 was published on jun, 20, 2013: 13, 669 people reported to have side effects when taking geodon (ziprasidone). Among them, 19 people (0.14%) have acne. That is, 19 of 13, 669 who had any side effects from Geodon (ziprasidone) reported acne. Not a statistically significant finding.
