Will cogentin help alleviate geodon (ziprasidone) side effects?

EPS: Cogentin (benztropine) is used to treat only the extrapyramidal side effects (eps) from antipsychotics. These include tremor, rigidity, and akithesia. It does not counteract other side effects of antipsychotics, such as cardiac issues, metabolic issues, or changes in mentation.

Cogentin: Excellent response by Dr. Murdock. That depends on which side effects you are referring to. It can help to alleviate involuntary movements related to antipsychotic drugs.
