A member asked:

I am withdrawing socialy because i just don't fit in social situation. been there, seen it, not for me. why is it troubling others? i don't feel bad?

Balance : Social withdrawal can be a sign of a mental disorder. In addition, it's likely that others would genuinely enjoy your presence with them. The belief that one doesn't fit in may be a premature conclusion. If one stays in a social situation long enough one often becomes a part of the context and feels more comfortable. Select some connections with others that appeal to you and enjoy them.
