Swelliendometriosis : Your pelvis organs congested at that time, the ureter may be somewhat blocked and urine back up to swell the kidney also maybe a small stone is coming dow n the ureter because the ureter is dilated a bit more during the period also may be the endometriosis in the area swelling blocking the ureter should see md and do test when having the discomfort.
