Possible Autoimmune: The symptoms and MRI suggest an autoimmune inflammatory condition. Ms is a contender but joint pains are not a usual feature of ms but suggest a rheumatological condition. While rheumatologic conditions may mimic ms, sometimes these disorders may coexist.
