Find another "why".: It sounds like you do think the meds maybe are a good idea for you to take at this time even if you may not completely believe you suffer from schizophrenia. You might be right. Labels help some and hurt others and they can be wrong. You can take the meds to reduce symptoms that bother you. Helping yourself might be good enough motivation. Let me know if this helps. Schizophrenia: I think a very powerful motivator is the knowledge that your symptoms will likely worsen over time if you are not properly treated.
