Medication non-: compliance is a MAJOR problem for a lot of mentally ill, especially schizophrenics. Try re-framing your approach. Tell him zyprexa (olanzapine) is like vitamins for the brain, or use another analogy. I tell patients that meds are like feul filters between the gas tank and the engine. The engine is fine but there's dirt in the gas. A three dollar part restores the engine to mark headings.
