Variable : Hernias are highly variable in terms of location, severity of symptoms, and treatment. Best to get an evaluation by a primary care provider if you have one. Generally, the only treatment is surgical, and there is a variety of techniques as well. It's a complex disease, often misunderstood for being simple.
