If the uterus had: Been removed and the cervical stump was left , then yes the cervix can be removed , if she still has her uterus then no, no one would ever remove just the cervix and leave the uterus, , a piece of the cervix can be removed called a cervical cone , but that still leaves part of the cervix in place if she has questions she should discuss everything fully with her doc way before having surgery !
