Break the TV-Joking!: Explore what else in life you are involved in and what is meaningful which would take time away from the tv. Develop other hobbies , interests, friendships, volunteer work. I am reluctant to say internet because that is to much like tv, i.e. You and an inanimate object. Naturally therapy if you just cannot shake it. Last resort maybe form a tv club! at least you won't be alone!
