Dose range: The recommended kid dose is often quoted by weight at 10-15 mg/kg every 4-6 hours. By the time they get to 13 that calculation is a bit much (with weights varying 35-70kg) so the adult doses would apply.The range of 325-650 mg would be appropriate as often as every 4-6 hours and no more than 5 doses / 24hrs.
