A member asked:

My daughter is 11 months old. she has had a bad chest and wheezing for the past 2-3 months. any ideas what could be wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wheezy bronchitis: She sounds like she has bronchospasm which could be a transient form of asthma. This is more likely if she has eczema, food intolerances and persistent nasal congestion. There are other conditions which need to be eliminated such as congenital lung problem, foreign body aspiration and pneumonia.
