A member asked:

If theres no sugar in the urine, is diabetes not the case with frequent urination?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely not: Diabetes is only one of many causes of frequent urination. A hba1c is important to rule out dm. Distinguishing between making a lot if urine vs feeling the frequent urge to void more than normal is important. The symptoms may have different causes. A physician needs to be involved.
