A member asked:

What might be the clear fluid that is leaking from my skin after a bad chemical burn?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Serum: The clear or often straw colored fluid that is in blisters or that weeps from skin burns is serum. Serum is basically blood without the red blood cells in it. It is leaking extracellular fluid.
