Skin infection : It sounds like impetigo. Clean the area with soap and water regularly and use some antibiotic cream or ointment. If it persists after doing that for a couple of says, then see a physician for an evaluation and probably stronger antibiotics. Avoid putting your hair behind your ears until healed.
