Why is my Plica semilunaris, which is red and swollen have a bump near the white part of eye? Could it be an allergic reaction something? If so how will I know if allergen is out of my eye?
My caruncule and plica semilunaris have gotten bigger in the right eye ever since I accidentally got some desinfectant in it last summer. Its not always red but looks swollen and stings. Is it hyperplasia? Can it go away by itself with time?

The area between my eye and the inside of my lower eyelid has some fatty / oily deposits. There are also some yellowish bumps on the inside of my lower eyelid and also on the lacrimal caruncle. My plica semilunaris is also enlarged. What causes this?
