My optician said that she found a white dot on my cornea (in the right eye). she refered me to an eye doctor but said that its probably nothing. my plica semilunaris/caruncle is inflamed in that eye and i have some vision problems. is it serious?

You should see your eye doctor and get evaluated for dry eyes. There are treatments available for dry eyes, if diagnosed. You should also limit your screen time on phones, computers, tablets, etc. to decrease eye strain. You should also apply warm compresses to your eyes twice daily and wash your eyes with warm water and mild soap. This will help limit inflammation. See your eye doctor-hood luck!!
