Ovulation: The pain you are feeling at that time is likely ovulatory pain as the egg is released form the ovary. There is actually a medical term for this called "mittelschmerz", which is a german word basically meaning middle pain, which is about when in you cycle the pain occurs. Some women can actually tell quite well when they are ovulating because they feel this pain.
